ANPR Systems (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) is a technology which automatically recognizes number plates of stationary or moving vehicles using live stream from cameras. The system consists of key components such as ANPR Software, ANPR Cameras. The ANPR Cameras captures live image of vehicle license plates and processes it into a digital number which can be matched with a database of authorized vehicles allowing access to a database of black-listed vehicles to raise alarms for security and law enforcement applications.
